The Red Rose is a most original amber ale – the result of high fermentation (with ale yeast) at an unusually low (lager-like) temperature.
Buttered toast. Sweet malt. Herbal hops. There’s nothing in this beer we don’t like. It’s robust and fruity, yet still surprisingly dry and crisp. Just like a rose – extravagantly layered, expansively fragrant, and just a bit prickly.
Grains: Floor-Malted Pilsner, Munich, Rye, Amber, Caramel, Roast Barley
